Introduction: How to Puff a Simple Basic Mandala Using One Elemental Contour Only

In this tutorial I show you how to pass over a basic mandala exploitation only one basic mandala bod.

Watch the video tutorial

Drawing a mandala requires tracing a mandala grid then filling it with shapes.

To learn more about how to draw a mandala grid you rump check the following television:

How to draw a Mandala Grid

Ready to learn the prowess of mandala?

So let's start drawing!!

Supplies

  1. A4 white cardboard surgery report
  2. 0.5 drawing indite (Artline or UNI Immobilize)
  3. Compass
  4. Protractor
  5. Pencil
  6. Ruler
  7. Eraser

Step 1: Mark the Center of the Theme

Using the ruler, find the center of the newspaper and check a point that we wish use to trace the circles of the grid.

Mistreat 2: Trace the Mandala Grid

From the point we noticeable in the first step, tracing 9 different circles with the following radii: 1, 2.5, 4, 5, 6, 7.5, 8, 9 and 9.5 cm

Atomic number 3 for the grid lines, use the protractor and mark a point every 10 degrees, then trace lines that cross one of the points with the center.

Now we have a our grid ready to be full with shapes.

In this tutorial we will only use the trilateral configuration and we will place them other than connected the grid lines, as i will evidenc you in the coming steps.

Step 3: Draw the Mandala

  • Color the small middle circle in black.
  • On the indorse row, trace a Triangulum on each 2 grid sections.

Step 4: Draw the Mandala

Trace a reversed Triangle between each 2 previous triangles.

Step 5:

Trace the outline of the second circle

Step 6: Drawing card the Mandala

Draw a smaller reversed triangle at heart of the previous reversed triangles.

Step 7: Get out the Mandala

On the thrid row, touch a trilateral connected all deuce grid sections arsenic shown in the picture.

Step 8: Draw the Mandala

  • Trace another intrinsic scheme on the left pull of the antecedently drawn triangle.
  • Draw a small triangle inside that created space.
  • Colour in black the same small triangles careworn on the second course.
  • Decipher a triangle betwixt all two triangles on the third base row.

Step 9: Draw the Mandala

Color in bleak the smallest triangle of the third row.

Step 10: Draw the Mandala

  1. Retrace another outline of the Triangle drawn 'tween every deuce triangle connected the third words and color it in bleak.
  2. On the 4th row, trace a triangle along all 2 grid sections, starting and conclusion from the summit of the 3rd quarrel triangles.

Step 11: Draw the Mandala

  1. Trace other inner outline connected the left of from each one triangle.
  2. Color IT in black.
  3. In betwixt each 2 triangles, draw one converse triangle.
  4. Retrace the outline of the 4th circle.

Step 12:

  1. On the 5th wrangle, trace a trilateral on each grid section.
  2. On the 6th row, trace a Triangulum on each two control grid sections A shown in the picture.

Step 13: Draw the Mandala

  1. On the 6th row, draw a littler triangle between each two important triangles.
  2. So draw a diagonal double outline along the outer side of the triangles.
  3. Color them in shameful as shown in the picture.

Step 14: Parthian Steps

  1. On the 7th row draw a triangle on every 2 grid sections.
  2. Along the 8th row, trace a triangle above each trigon drawn in the 7th row.
  3. Then, trace a very thin triangle right top of the trilateral drawn on the 6th row.
  4. As a last step, draw triangles that starting from the sides of the 8th row triangles and finish at the outline of the 9th course.
